Great! But...
Ok, so first off, I want to allow the devs know that they did an amazing task making this app. Information technology has a simple design, looks smashing, and is very convenient. Ane thing is that Google Drive offers 15GB for free, while I think Dropbox merely offers 2GB. Mayhap for the complimentary version, upgrade that a little flake.
Anyway, I mainly utilise Dropbox over whatsoever other service, because I believe it'south ameliorate, but I might accept to switch to Google Drive for more costless storage. The one affair that I would add together to it, is shortcuts. For example, if I could have all my files in ane big folder, and them besprinkle them across unlike folders using shortcuts to the aforementioned file, in the big folder. I use Dropbox to go on my music MP3'south, but I tin can't have them in unlike floders without copying and pasting, which would accept upwards twice the storage. I would have multiple folders, and ,for case, have my song in 1 folder, and another, without doubling the storage. I would want them both to point to the MP3 in the big folder with all my files, that I mentioned before. I would love to have this tool, and I'm certain a ton of others would. This would definitely bring you lot over the top better than the other cloud storage providers.

Horrible Background Bombardment Usage
I really love the app and it gives me the ability to share my files between my iPad and my desktop calculator easily. I originially got Dropbox because Google Drive was draining my battery past constantly running in the background. Well, my battery has been draining once again over fourth dimension by almost 30% or more at times. I checked my battery usage and Dropbox was running in the background for 7 hours straight. Why? I looked upwardly the issue, and someone mentioned the but fashion to fix it was to disable it in the File app on my device, but I don't desire to practise that, because sometimes I do demand to admission things from that app, or move things that way. I sympathise that it checks the folder in Files and makes sure everything is synced to the actual Dropbox app, but vii hours? There'south likewise an issue where if I upload items to Dropbox within the app, if I close the app, it stops uploading. I have to take the app open for it to end uploading. I've never had to deal with that before. Non sure if these are Apple issues or Dropbox bug. I hope there's another fix for it though, because I shouldn't exist going to sleep with my iPad at 100% and waking up to it already down to lxx%. I guess I will practise the temporary fix in files for now, unless I observe another cloud service that doesn't bleed my bombardment all day.
